Former judge Thomas M. Ewert joined Spesia & Ayers in 2001, having served as presiding judge of Will County's civil division for 24 years. Mr. Ewert's vast knowledge of civil litigation rounds out the firm's exceptional team of trial lawyers. Appointed by the Federal Court as chairman of Northern Illinois' Pipeline Commissioners Panel, Mr. Ewert is also a member of the Illinois Judges Association and the Association for Conflict Resolution; founder of Will County's Mandatory Arbitration and Court Annexed Mediation Programs; and former member of the Joint Committee on Judicial Ethics.
